Assam Chah Janagoshi Shiksha Sanskriti Nyas organized Tea Community Youth Festival – 2023

Assam Chah Janagoshi Shiksha Sanskriti Nyas organized its first ever Youth Festival at Rangghar Auditorium of Dibrugarh University on 8th July 2023 with a day long programme. The auditorium was thronged with more than 500 enthusiastic participants.

Before the commencement of the Programme the atmosphere was filled with the aroma of purification by reciting the Vandana of Maa Saraswati by the students of R.S.P. Sankardev Vidya Niketan, Chiring Chapori, Dibrugarh.

Sh. Sanjoy Kishan, Honorable Minister, Labour Welfare Department, Government of Assam started the programme with the lightening of lamp in front of the portrait of Bharat Mata.

In his welcome address Dr. Amal Bawri, the secretary highlighted about the purpose of foundation of the Trust and described about the motive of the Youth Conclave.

Inspiring Speeches and Recognizing Excellence

After that the chief guest of the programme, minister Mr. Kishan delivered his speech and encouraged all students and participants to work for the betterment of the society. He also advised them to be respectful to their parents as well as the society from where they are coming from. He also hopeful of the Trust to do more good things for the community in future.

After that, 33 meritorious students who secured more than 80% marks in their HSLC and HS exams this year were felicitated by the dignitaries on the dais.

Enriching Technical Sessions

After a short tea break, technical sessions were started. Dr. Mukul Chandra Bora, Director, Institute of Engineering and Technology (DUIET), Dibrugarh University was the resource person of the 1st session. He illuminated on various aspects of innovative ideas and skilled works in the context of 21st century before the mass.

In the 2nd session Dr.Horen Gowalla, Principal of Mariani College gave brief lecture on the topic ‘Students of the Tea & Ex-Tea Community and their Enrolment in Higher Education System: Challenges & Assessment’.

In the last session the chief guest Sjt. Bashistha Bujarbaruah, Saha Kshetra Pracharak, RSS, Assam Kshetra, deliberately focused on the topic ‘Tea & Ex-Tea Community Youth and their role in the Upliftment of Society, conservation of tradition and nation building’.

In his vote of thanks, trustee member Sri Biren Koiry thanked everyone for his/ her cooperation for successful accomplishment of the programme. The programme was concluded with the presidential speech followed by national song VandeMataram.
