Various association has come forward to help the government in this acute financial crisis due to lockdown to fight against Corona virus by donating in chief minister’s relief fund. Vidya Bharati is a national organisation. The ideal of Vidya Bharati is not only educating the mind but also social service. The students are taught that the whole society is our own family. That’s why it is our moral duty to stand beside the society in this terrible disaster in the name of covid 19. Keeping in mind this ideal the Tripura unit of Vidya Bharati has donated 90 thousand rupees till date in chief minister’s relief fund. The lion’s share of this donation has been borne especially by three schools of Vidya Bharati in Tripura namely Anandyamayee Ghoshal Memorial Tripureswari Vidya Mandir, kailasahar (Rs. 13500/-), Tripureswari Sishu Mandir, ramnagar, Agartala (Rs. 25000/-) and Tripureswari Vidya Mandir, gandhigram, west Tripura (Rs. 50000/-).
Apart from this the state committee of Vidya Bharati and also the members of the schools steering committee are donating in the chief minister’s relief fund as well as helping the needy according to their own convenience.
All schools, colleges, offices and courts are officially closed in the state to preserve the humanity from this epidemic but still online classes are been provided by the schools in Tripura under Vidya Bharati by maintaining social distancing. More than 800 students are able to continue their studies being safe at home as almost 60 teachers are providing their classes to the students through digitalisation. The trustees are also keeping vigilance in this work and have also expressed their pleasantness with this kind of work. After many discussion this idea was proclaimed to continue with teaching learning process in this present scenario of the society. The headmasters of the schools have informed that with this process the students are able to manage studies even after being home.
Not only this, the teachers, Karyakartas as well as students of Vidya Bharati schools are also making mask at home and distributing them to the common people. They have also decided to prepare sanitizer and distribute among the common people. All the schools in Tripura under Vidya Bharati has been praised and has also come to limelight because of such noble deeds being performed by them.
