Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh – The much-awaited Sapta Shakti Sangam was successfully organized at Donyi Polo Vidya Niketan (D.P.V.N.), Pasighat Bazaar, under the aegis of Arunachal Shiksha Vikas Samiti (A.S.V.S.). The event marked a vibrant celebration of women’s empowerment, motherhood, and cultural harmony in the region.
The program commenced with the auspicious Deep Prajwalan (lamp lighting) ceremony, graced by the Chief Guest Smt. Aini Taki Taloh, renowned social worker, blood donor, and leader of the voluntary organization AYANG. Smt. Taloh, recipient of the Rakht Krantiveer Samman and multiple international awards, inspired participants with her presence and vision of service, compassion, and empowerment.
Spiritual Start with Sanskrit Vandana
The students of D.P.V.N. School initiated the event with a soulful Sanskrit Vandana, setting a devotional and positive tone. Following this, Er. O. Gao, Coordinator of Sapta Shakti Sangam, Arunachal Pradesh, delivered the welcome address and felicitations. He highlighted the objectives of the Sangam, emphasizing the power of motherhood, women’s empowerment, and social unity.
The teachers of D.P.V.N. School further enriched the occasion with a melodious group song, blending culture and harmony beautifully.
Keynote Address on Motherhood and Values
The keynote address was delivered by Smt. Minam Mibang, Assistant Professor at J.N. College, who shared insightful perspectives on the role of mothers in shaping a value-based society. A quiz competition followed, engaging nearly 200 enthusiastic participants and adding an interactive, joyful dimension to the event. Students also presented Sanskrit Subhashitas, reflecting the timeless wisdom of ancient Indian literature.
Empowering Talks by Dignitaries
The program continued with motivational speeches by Smt. Yamo Tamut (EAC, Pasighat) and Dr. Manjuli Jamoh (CEO, Smart City Pasighat), both highlighting women’s leadership, community responsibility, and social cohesion. Another group song by the teachers further enhanced the spirit of togetherness.
The Chief Guest, Smt. Aini Taki Taloh, addressed the gathering with a heartfelt speech on service, compassion, and women’s empowerment, leaving a lasting impression on the audience. Several mothers also shared personal experiences, expressing gratitude for being part of such a meaningful and uplifting event.

Unity Pledge and Event Conclusion
Towards the end, all guests and participants took a pledge of unity and empowerment, reaffirming their commitment to collective progress and social harmony. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Smt. S. Sangma, Principal of D.P.V.N. School, acknowledging the efforts of all dignitaries, participants, and contributors.
The memorable 2.5-hour program ended on a serene note with the collective chanting of the Shanti Mantra, spreading peace and positivity throughout the venue.
